Workflow stage:
1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.7, 1.8
Business value:
A business vocabulary contains terms and definitions of concepts that an organization or community uses in the course of doing business. SBVR is designed to support interchange of business vocabularies and rules among organizations by enabling linguistic analysis of text. It is applicable to all kinds of business activities. It is designed to be used for business purposes, independent of information systems designs. SBVR adopts many of the theories and principles of terminology and applies them to business modelling. As such it has a potential to promote the use of terminology methods and services in business applications.
